Hello!
I am Tami. I am mama to 4 wonderful kids, Kane, Gage, Rafe, & Anya. We live in Washington State in a cozy old cottage tucked away within suburbia.
I started writing Joyful Noise over 10 years ago as a way of capturing the simple and ordinary beauty of everyday. I hope that it serves as a way to preserve the very precious memories of our dailiness. Those are the memories that I want to preserve, the ones most easily overlooked when we don't stop to take notice. This is my place to slow down and breathe in my day.
A lot has changed over the years. A marriage over. The kids nearly grown. And still, the joyful noise carries on. I'm still the same woman wanting to live a simple life and find the joy in the everyday.
We are a creative family, that loves to spend time together. I love to spend time in the kitchen cooking and baking from scratch, knitting is my sanity, and I spend lots of time dreaming up ways to make our little plot of land into an urban homestead. For now we have a small kitchen garden, fruit trees, a clothesline, and a lot of plans.
